Kid Mountain
Recently renovated, this playground is beside the Yancey County Public Library. With sections for all ages and abilities, including wheelchair accessible activities, this is a haven for parents and children to unwind and spend a relaxing afternoon. Picnic tables provide a spot to have

Parkway Playhouse
Parkway Playhouse, the oldest continuously operating summer theater in North Carolina calls Burnsville home. The playhouse was established in 1947 and once operated as a summer stock venue and a sponsored extension of the drama departments at UNCG and
