The Chicken Coop

Located about five miles outside Burnsville on the edge of Pisgah National Forest, this private two-story home is a year-round destination to escape the rush of modern life and get back to nature. There are hiking trails on property and the Cane River is in walking distance.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with full bath attached, and a sleeper sofa downstairs with a half bath. The living room is upscale with leather and wood furnishings, hard wood floors and designer accents. The deck has a gas grill and charcoal grill, and there is a fit pit in the yard.
Enjoy the sound of the flowing river from the deck, or head to the river for trout fishing, tubing and swimming in the nearby swimming hole. Pet free waived for one day per stay.
